May 4: Discovering What Makes Your Child Tick

Each day educators, parents and other professionals in Nashville are working together to make a difference in the lives of our children. To help you increase your effectiveness, we would like to invite you to our Parent Empowerment Session: Discovering What Makes Your Child Tick.

This FREE session will be held Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Explore! Community School, 217 S 10th St, Nashville, TN 37206.

This workshop, Discovering What Makes Your Child Tick: Understanding Your Child’s Behavioral Style, will help parents learn valuable skills including:

  • How the different behavioral styles affect the way a child reacts to their parents
  • Concrete skills to build courage and self-esteem in your child
  • Roles parents can play in effectively communicating with their child

The workshop will include discussion and opportunities to practice skills in a supportive environment.

If you will need transportation or interpretation services, please let us know! Light refreshments will be served, if you have any food allergies please note that in the space provided on the registration form.
